RESEARCH EXPERIENCE

CLIMATE CHANGE AND GENDER INEQUALITY —Malawi 2018

With support from Oxford University's International Development department as well as Jesus College, I conducted field research on the gendered impacts of climate change in Malawi. The research is the subject of my Masters thesis and has been featured in TIME Magazine and Teen Vogue, among others.

VOLUNTEER TOURISM —Lake Atitlan, Guatemala 2017

With support from New York University's Liberal Studies Grant Program, I conducted research on the impacts of volunteer tourism on communities in and around Lake Atitlan. I conducted research with the Canadian company, Operations Groundswell. My research was published in Campus Compact.

UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANT SEX WORK —Paris, France 2015

I conducted research on undocumented sex workers in France. I was awarded the Forum Award on Academic Achievement Abroad. My research was presented at NYU'S Global Engagement Symposium in 2017.

ORPHANAGE TOURISM —Phnom Penh, Cambodia 2015

With support from New York University's Liberal Studies Grant Program, I conducted research on corruption in the orphanage tourism industry in Cambodia. The research was part of my undergraduate thesis and the topic of my TEDXNYU talk.
